Cha Jung-hwan of Black Kombat overpowered UFC's Jung Da-woon

Cha Jung-hwan (40), the 4th Road FC middleweight (84kg), won a great victory in MMA in 2,941 days.

The Black Combat 13 was held at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on Dec. 28. Cha Jung-hwan defeated Roque Martinez (38, Guam), the 6th DEEP unlimitedweight champion, in a unanimous decision in the third match of the first division of the light heavyweight class (93 kg).

Two judges scored 29-28 in the Black Kombat 13 and the other 30-27, indicating that Cha won against Roque Martinez. His performance in the UFC in the early and mid-2010s remained robust despite eight years and 19 days of absence.

The mixed martial arts ranking system "Fight Matrix" gave Cha 119 points for the welterweight (77 kg) in the third quarter of 2010 to the second quarter of 2011 and 110 points for the middleweight in the second quarter of 2016. 119 points are currently ranked 50th and top 68.5% in the UFC welterweight division, and 110 points are ranked 43rd and top 67.2% in the UFC middleweight division.

In other words, Cha enjoyed the golden age of being the top 50 in the world's largest organization in both weight classes. Cha also had one win and one loss in his big league, including the MMA event held by the K-1 in 2005 at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium and the ONE Championship 5 in Manila, the Philippines in 2012. He has no experience in UFC.

Roque Martinez has experienced nine MMA big leagues, including three UFC events from 2020-2021 and six Japanese Rizin events from 2017-2023. His best assessment is 54 points for "Fight Matrix" in the second quarter of 2019. He is currently ranked 27th in UFC heavyweight (120 kg) and at the top 90 percent level. 먹튀검증

He never lost in Korea, including two wins and one draw at TFC in 2015 and two wins at Black Kombat since 2023. However, Cha Jung-hwan, the first Korean to beat Rocke Martinez, was born in 3502 days (9 years and 6 months and 30 days).

Roque Martinez beat ▲ UFC commentator Kim Doo-hwan (36) ▲ UFC commentator Kim Myung-hwan (27), the first double-ji heavyweight champion, to boast a brilliant Korean opponent that drew with △ Japan's Heat heavyweight champion Lee Sang-soo (41), but Cha Jung-hwan was different.

Cha Jung-hwan will record four wins and two draws against six UFC members, including ▲ Cha Ryo (48, Japan) ▲ Kim Dong-hyun B (36) ▲ Ricky Fukuda (43, Japan) ▲ Luis Hamus (43) ▲ Aleksandri Bahus (48, Brazil) ▲ Roque Martinez.

If light heavyweight is unfamiliar to Cha Jung-hwan from the welterweight/middleweight class in terms of power, light heavyweight may not be easy to control for Roque Martinez. Cha Jung-hwan said, "Martinez's hitting power was really strong. If I get hit, I feel dizzy." and hoped for the next match as a middleweight.

"I lost more than 20kg to compete with Cha Jung-hwan, and the weight loss was so smooth that I thought I could lose more," Roque Martinez said, leaving open the possibility of additional participation in the black comedy light heavyweight division.

As stated in the interview for the defeat of Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium, Roque Martinez did not have difficulty in pressing and hitting against Cha Jung-hwan, who was faster than him. Although he did not get a result, it was a performance that was expected to perform on the black battle stage in 2025.
